What is Friends of Folsom CERT?

Founded in 2011, Friends of Folsom CERT (FoFCERT) is a registered 501(c)3 charitable organization that exists to support the City of Folsom Community Emergency Response Team.

Mission Statement:

Our primary mission is to raise funds and allocate resources to empower Folsom CERT and it's members with the essential training opportunities, equipment, and support needed to excel as volunteer first responders during emergencies and disasters. Through fundraising campaigns, and donor engagement, we strive to create a robust financial infrastructure that directly enhances CERT's capacity to support our community.

In pursuit of our mission, we recognize the integral role that responsible fundraising and financial stewardship play in supporting Folsom CERT's own mission. We are committed to fostering partnerships with businesses, individuals, and organizations that share our vision of a prepared and resilient community. Through careful financial planning and the prudent allocation of funds, our nonprofit seeks to create a lasting impact on Folsom CERT's readiness and response capabilities.
